So when someone summons a demon in a horror film and gets the whole altar ready and decorates the room with blood and skulls and spends a good 10 minutes summoning this thing, or when a warlock in a video raises his hand and a giant red burning hell demon appears, you don’t really think much of it.
If you’re in a horror film it’s a well known fact that if you’re the guy summoning the demon (which is just going to kill you right after you’ve summoned it and give it an order so I’m not sure why you’re going along with this anyway) you’re making a mistake.
Being able to summon a creature is interesting for humans to do, but what about the demons?
I imagine they’re probably about to go to sleep after a long day or on their way to work, they just spilled hot coffee on the seat of their car and their demon overlord bosses are going to kill them if they arrive late, again. Then all of a sudden some red circles appear around them and they’re like “Oh ·$%@ not agai-” and they pop into another world and they just don’t care because this happens way too often.
Isn’t it sort of weird to just teleport someone else to you and give them orders? Like you’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and you just got to the front of the line at Starbucks and before you can finish saying whatever weird pseudo Italian words for caffeine you’ve become addicted to you just disappear and some nerd is looking at you through his glasses. Why wouldn’t you just step on him?
So please, think of the blood thirsty hell demons before summoning.
